Pierre: Fact, Fiction or Fantasy?

The legend of "Pierre," a ghost has become a part of the lore of the Stagecoach Inn Museum. His "existence" was brought to light in the late 1960s when a psychic claimed she felt the presence of a ghost in the building. She said that back in 1889 a man of about 35 years of age had been shot while on the second floor of the Inn and his name was Pierre Duvon or Duval. No other documentation confirms his life or death.

Some people who have looked at the photograph of the burning Inn hanging in the museum hallway say they can see a hazy apparition rising from the flames. Was it Pierre? Who knows?
